I received the Eriko Kurosaki Award at “Nail Salon Grand Prix 2022”, a project by NAIL EX. I was the only winner from Fukuoka Prefecture. The results were announced in the April 2022 issue of NAIL EX.
My entry
The theme of my work was “Ephemeral”. Inspired by a cold night sky, I expressed in blue nails the fragility of fragments peeling away, and their beauty.
Judge Eriko Kurosaki commented that within the sparkling design, the sense of depth and the way light enters were carefully calculated, and that it was very beautiful.
