I was chosen as a member of the 4th generation of EX MUSE, the official muses of the national magazine NAIL EX, announced in the June 2024 issue.
The 4th generation was the first to be selected through an audition. Six people were chosen from 95 applicants.
Preparing for the audition
For the audition, I rented a studio and shot my work myself. Using red lighting and a smoke machine, I tried a mood I had never shot before.
What I hoped to achieve as an EX MUSE
In the magazine, I talked about my dreams: designing the nails for the cover, taking part in product development, and working with Fumi, whom I admire.
Since then, I created the magnetic color gel “CEDAR GROVE” in an EX MUSE collaboration in March 2025. In November, my dream of working with Fumi also came true through a TSUMEKIRA project, where I drew the illustrations for “+1(zero)dog2”, a nail sticker produced by Fumi.
